Paraplanner Assistant

Due to continued success, a prestigious and well-established financial services company is looking to recruit a Paraplanner Assistant within their Paraplanner and Pension Specialists team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Paraplanner team, and is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for temporary work within the Financial Services Industry.

Key responsibilities for the Paraplanner Assistant:

  • Update client records upon receipt of a comprehensive Investment Planning Questionnaire (fact-find) completed by the Adviser
  • Assist in ensuring all client information is up to date
  • Liaise with Paraplanners and Advisers, where appropriate, to keep up to date of progress and any outstanding requirements
  • Assist with administration necessary to enable report recommendations to be actioned
  • Support Paraplanners with obtaining information as required from pension scheme providers
  • Organise, save and file records
  • Maintain service levels and undertake work within agreed timescales
  • General administrative duties e.g. scanning, photocopying, filing
  • Assist with other operational duties as required

Essential Requirements are:

  • Thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate good organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate and numerate
  • Be able to work to deadlines and have proven time management skills
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team
  • Able to build rapport with others within WEALTH at work
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
