A well-regarded Investment Management Firm based in Liverpool City Centre is currently seeking a Business Support Administrator with strong experience from Financial Services. The role involves providing a high quality service to Providers, Financial Advisers and underlying clients, as well as internal contacts to support the set up and maintenance of the Investment Management business.

Key responsibilities for the Business Support Administrator – Wealth & Investments:

  • Provide a point of contact for SIPP and Offshore Bond Providers
  • This involves receiving instructions for new accounts and payments and ensuring the Cash Department, Investment Managers and Providers are kept updated with the progress of new accounts and payments
  • Provide support to Fund Managers for the set up and maintenance of Provider business
  • This will include reviewing stock eligibility, helping to maintain the guidance and support to Fund Managers about documentation for Provider accounts
  • Ensure that daily/monthly valuation and transaction files are sent to providers in accordance with Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure all items in the SIPP/Offshore Bond queue in the Account Opening System are checked and processed in a timely manner
  • Ensure adequate checks and controls are carried out in respect of contractual obligations as appropriate
  • Communication with Financial Adviser administration staff and advisers to resolve queries and develop relationships

Essential Requirements are:

  • Previous Experience of working within  Financial Services / Investments is essential
  • Ability to operate in a professional manner and to work within deadlines
  • Ability to build constructive relationships with other members of staff at various levels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Motivated and ambitious with excellent academic record
  • Maintain appropriate level of regulatory and technical knowledge.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Word
  • Strong Excel Skills
