A prestigious financial services organisation based in Liverpool centre has an opening within their accounts department for a Reconciliations Assistant, to join for an initial period of 3 months. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the successful candidate will have experience of working in a fast paced accounts environment. Joining an award winning company, this is an excellent opportunity for a graduate level candidate as this role has the ability to become permanent in the future. In order to be considered for the role it is essential to be available at short notice.

The Reconciliations Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring cash book reconciliations agree to the bank on a daily basis
  • Raising any differences that arise on a daily basis
  • Liaise with operational staff to resolve any discrepancies
  • Participating in ad hoc project work when required
  • Managing company financial system

Essential Requirements are:

  • Methodical and conscientious approach to work
  • High level of accuracy
  • Experience within a Finance environment
  • Ability to work to agreed deadline
