Accounts Assistant – Market Leading Organisation

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a market leading Financial Services company, based in Liverpool city centre who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a contract basis. This versatile role, incorporates Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Reconciliations work and is ideal for a candidate with extensive transactional experience. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be joining an established and hard-working team. With genuine scope for progression this is an opportunity to join a large global company with a comfortable working environment.

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Inputting and processing purchase invoices
  • Allocating incoming payments and processing BACS transfers
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Handling supplier queries
  • Involved in month end process

Essential Requirements are:

  • AAT Qualified (desirable not essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
